After producing a successful 2021 Impact Report with an innovative visual style for the previous brand, Portfolio is proud to have worked with the team at Q Shelter to align their brand with their energy and vision of ensuring every Queenslander has a home.
The new look for the brand was proudly launched by Q Shelter CEO Fiona Caniglia at the Sector Peaks Networking Event at Parliament House on 23 August 2022, you can view a video from the launch of Fiona speaking about the new brand here.

Q Shelter Brand Refresh
With a strategic and empathetic approach, Portfolio helped Q Shelter to refine their positioning statement and tagline ‘Because home matters’, developed a warm and radiant new brand mark, designed supporting communications materials and digital assets, and templates to support the team to produce branded collateral efficiently in-house. As a key part of the new brand rollout, we designed and built a new website to house key resources which assist and inform stakeholders across areas of influence and sector support, with scaleability and accessibility at the forefront.
Impact Report 2021 (featuring previous branding)
Portfolio created a digital impact report document and landing page with an optimistic feel by incorporating brand elements in a dynamic way, an approach that was new for the existing brand. Applying the logo motifs in a bold way reminded us of patterned textiles within the home, and by introducing fonts and icons in a hand drawn style gave the document an approachable sense of human touch. Overall this document was very well received with overwhelmingly positive feedback, which helped inform the next steps for the Q Shelter brand.

We continue to work with and support Q Shelter, and have since created brands and supporting materials for affiliated services Community Housing Futures and Service Integration Initiative.
